We went to Reverend Tony for our wedding in May. He is a very nice man but had no memory of who we were, even the day after he completed our service. He was late for the ceremony and had set it up in a place that we had never agreed upon. I was fine with it, I didn't make a big deal out of it but the real problems began when all was said and done. (I didn't even make a big scene when he ANSWERED his phone DURING our ceremony.)We paid for the photo package and his wife was going to take the pictures. He had a random girl take said pictures and even though we paid for the package in full we have never received them. We call at least 2 times a week and he keeps telling us that they are up on the computer right now and he will get them in the mail tomorrow. Well, tomorrow is already here and gone and we still don't have them. Another BIG problem that I have with Rev. Tony is that he said that he mailed in our wedding license. Guess what? (Of course) he didn't do that. I have called everyone in the Vital Records Department in Orleans Parish and they have no record of it. This was my wedding. I have waited 8 years for this day and now I am left with a mess. I would never, ever wish this kind of pain on anyone. This was supposed to be the best time of my life and it's not, all thanks to this man.I also had a very important quote that I wanted to include in our sermon that means a lot to my husband and I and he didn't even do that for me. This man left a sour taste in my mouth. RUN away from him and his scams. He does not have your best interests in mind- all he cares about is money; not quality of service. All that I can do now is dispute the charges on our credit card and re-do everything in my home state. I picked New Orleans for a reason, but it's not like Reverend Tony cares.

My husband and I knew we were right for each other after knowing each other for a year and only dating a month, so we decided that when we went on the vacation we had planned to New Orleans that we would elope. He had been there visiting friends before we started dating and had noticed the French Quarter Wedding Chapel, and after looking them up online we chose them as opposed to say, a justice of the peace or a church.Reverend Tony and his wife were very friendly and personable. We were able to get the information we needed regarding the marriage license and booked the date only 2 days in advance (giving us one day to get the license and all). We chose Pirate's Alley at sunset to get married, for it's beautiful background and interesting history. We also were given the option of having a violinist, but decided to go music-free.Our ceremony was great. We are anti-religious people, and so were able to have that taken into consideration with the wording. Reverend Tony even held my cellphone on speaker phone so my mom could hear us get married, haha! By the time we were half-way through, a tour group had made their way through the alley and had gathered to watch our nuptials. We got a loud cheer at the end and lots of congratulations despite only having 2 people with us that we knew, lol.I would suggest to anyone who wants to have an easy-to-plan, simple wedding in New Orleans that they go to the French Quarter Wedding Chapel. They gave us the most important day of our lives, and we're really thankful to them.
