Erin Taylor Photography

Erin Taylor did our wedding pictures July 16, 2011; however we still do not have our pictures. The reason Erin claimed she could not give us our pictures was because she had them locked in a storage room that she could not get into. A couple of weeks ago she told us that we could get our pictures and asked if we wanted to have them mailed or if we wanted to come pick them up. We decided to pick them up ourselves. Erin gave us two disc in an envelope (not in individual sleeves) against each other. She walked up and handed us the envelope and said, “Here you go, bye”, got in her car and left immediately. Both disc had scratches on them & both discs were blank. In fact neither of the disc have ever had anything on them. They were complete blank disc. We called her, text her, facebooked her & Erin has not responded to any of it. Erin has even removed us from her friends list on her facebook. We are very hurt, and heartbroken by this. I cannot believe someone could do something like this. It’s absolutely unbelievable. The only pictures of our wedding we have are random photos our friends and family took at the wedding. We have no professional photographs, and we have to live with that for the rest of our lives. Erin does not even have the decency to tell us what actually happened to our wedding pictures.

Erin was so great to work with! She has went above and beyond to make our day so special. If you are looking for a photographer that has great style call Erin! Thank you for everything Erin!!!!!

Having Erin do the photography for my wedding was one of the best experiences of my wedding. Erin gave us unlimited time for all of our sessions (2 engagements and a bridal plus the wedding day) and took so many pictures. On the wedding day she went with me to my hair and makeup appointments allowing me to have pictures of not just my transformation that day but my entire bridal party. In addition to making sure i had pictures of EVERYTHING, Erin is very flexible with her scheduling. With both my husband and myself being in school and him working, finding a time to have pictures taken was very difficult but Erin was more than willing to work with us. I looked at a TON of local photographer's websites in order to compare prices and Erin's were amazing. Her prices were very reasonable compared to others and you got just as much if not more. In addition to everything else, Erin went out of her way to make sure EVERYBODY involved was satisfied! Not only is Erin a wonderful photographer but she is also an amazing person. I highly recommend her to anybody who is planning a wedding!

Our wedding was held in Alexandria in August and despite paying way to much for Erin Taylor to simply take the pictures, the majority of them were blurry. One of the most significant events of the ceremony, our first kiss, wasn't even captured!!! On to the reception...again there were poor quality pictures taken, out of focus, hardly any of guests at the reception. Oh and apparently Erin finds it appropriate to sit down at the reception in the lobby when she is being paid to take pictures in the actual reception. After we received the blurry proofs we were reluctant to pay another $350 for a cd so we could actually develop the pictures but we eventually did a couple months ago and still have not received our CD!!! If you are anyone looking for a wedding photographer, or a photographer in general, I would strongly suggest staying away from Erin Taylor Photography!!!

I orderd the coffee table book of wedding photos for my daughter and was very impressed with the quality of the photos, layout and the print of the book. Erin did a great job and in a timely manner. All that have seen the book were very impressed and asked where and who prepared this book. I would recommend highly using Erin for your wedding or any special event. She is very professional and does an impecible job. She did a great job of taking many photos before during and after the wedding, which afforded me the opportunity to choose from many different ones. Her prices were good and you get a great deal for the money you pay. I would rate her a 5.0 on all the above areas.
